About us
FLAIR
First Ladies of Africa Impact and Resilience is a regional initiative and secretariat focused on the leadership, advocacy, and collaborative efforts of African First Ladies to drive social and economic change.
The organization typically focuses on high-level advocacy in several key areas:
Women’s Empowerment: Supporting the economic and political inclusion of women across the continent.
Education: Promoting initiatives specifically aimed at girl-child education and leadership development.
Healthcare: Improving maternal and child health outcomes and supporting infrastructure for community wellness.
Resilience and Peacebuilding: Leveraging the unique platform of First Ladies to foster stability and social impact within their respective nations and the broader African Union.
The secretariat
serves as the administrative and coordinating body for these efforts, organizing high-level forums, expos, and international delegations—such as the First Ladies High-Level Forum & Expo—to connect leaders with stakeholders and investors.
